It's not difficult to pronounce, it's just something that I have to do because I don't recognize the words by their letters. On top of that my vocabulary isn't particularly extensive, so yeah there's that.

but you dont use adjective when saying that someone is polish, he should have said "moja mama jest polką"
polska - femine form of adjective, plus it's the same word for poland as a noun.
