Neither. I think, "Shit. I hope he/she does not bother me." I'm tired of people asking me for money: politicians, churches, hopeful college students, homeless people, family members, and friend. Eeeeverybody wants my money. Get your own. 😠 😠 😠 I've got bills to pay, college tuition to save for (my kids), retirement to invest in, taxes to pay, etc. I cannot afford to support people outside of my 4-person family.

No, I didn't do any. I needed a current TOEFL score for University applications in the UK, and I think they needed like a 90+ or something, so there was no need.

Yes. Often, actually. One time it took me four tries reading "At The Mountains Of Madness" before I finally started to appreciate it. The first three tries bored the s.hit out of me due to Lovecraft's labored style of writing.
