That's a very tough call. There are so many. Since it is specific to "DJ", that narrows it down a bit but many of them can be considered DJs if they have ever done a live concert (and not just played a song they've already made). The list is stupid long, still. Basically, any electronic music you can dance to can be considered EDM. Here is a list (not necessarily my favorite artists, but they have at least 1 song that I really like (makes my top 1000 list):
Boyz Noize
Deadmau5
Paul Oakenfold
Flux Pavillion
Skrillex (don't hate: he's probably the best at his niche)
Bassnectar
Benga
Noisia
Squarepusher
Chase & Status
Power Pill
Showtek
Fatboy Slim
DJ? Acucrack
Honorable mention is:
Beats Antique
They mix real instruments with electronic...really nice trio. Love them.
Could you share some of your favorite songs from this stuff we are talking about, via YouTube, SoundCloud, or Spotify?
Depends on who exactly.

Yes, but when that niche is ****ing horrible,
That's your opinion and I strongly disagree with it.

...it's not worth much being the best at it.
Based on your previous opinion, this would be a sound conclusion.

Even then Datsik or Borgore are way better at the brostep/bass music thing.
Skrillex has largely been Dubstep.

If you would consider Skrillex dubstep (which he's not),
Incorrect. His music is mostly Dubstep. Like, literally, Dubstep.
😐
It looks like he is, recently, making a shift in his brand, though:

there are literally hundreds of djs/producers out there that are better than him.
By argumentum ad populum, you're also incorrect. By awards, you're also incorrect. Why is this lost on you? Are you being a dirty hipster? It seems like it.

Skream, Benga or Rusko are among the best.
I have Benga listed. My taste in music is so varied that singling out one of my Dubstep choices seems rather odd. I tried to keep my list narrowed down to just something that would qualify for DJ'd music from EDM (meaning, the artists needed to DJ, live, in front of an audience...toured...but not just played pre-written music). Based on what most EDM artists are doing, most qualify as a "DJ": the sample and mix quite a bit of music.

Do you fart in front of friends and family?
All the time. And in front of coworkers. It is generally considered rude. But, I find it rude to socially pressure people into not farting. It is uncomfortable to hold in your farts. My comfort matters more than arbitrary and silly social norms. So I fart. And I do not give people trouble when they fart. I fart everywhere.
It seems uncouth but it really isn't.
What is the last thing you assembled or built (furniture, house, car, etc.)?
