Just to add my two cents to the daughter question. I'd hold her responsible to the full extend for what she did, which I believe carries a 2 weeks grounded sentence. On the other hand I would hope that the man in question would also be held responsible to the full extend for what he did, which I believe would be multiple years in prison for statutory rape.

I started watching "Californication" recently and in the first episode the main character picks up a girl in a bookstore and they end up sleeping together. Later in the episode he finds out she was 16 and the daughter to the man his ex is now with. And not only that but she knew who he was and knew he had a tendency for sleeping around so she basically set him up even tho she knew it was illegal. Hijinks ensue.

This naturally got me thinking, "Holy shit, what would I do if I were in that position?" Not I don't pick up and sleep random women but even still I was a scary thought. So I decided to ask it but change a few minor things 1) clubs and bars are more likely a place to pick up people, plus alcohol is likely involved so it would make more sense to happen in an environment like that and 2) since 16 may be the age of consent some places I figured I would lower the age a bit but I had to keep it high enough to be plausible so I chose 15.

Then I was thinking, "How would the father react if he found out? How would I react if this was my daughter?" So again I asked to see if other people would react similarly to how I believe I would act.

Would you rather toil away in an inconspicuous low-level job where you are never bothered by managers or coworkers, or would you rather by a high-powered manager that has to argue and meet with people, all day? Assume both pay very well and doing a good job is required for both to stay employed.

While the first sounds extremely boring, the arguing and meeting people all day sounds exhausting. So I'd probably rather be bored than exhausted. But both sound horrible in the long run.
