JRR Tolkien isn't insanely better at writing books than JK Rowling? I'm utterly flabbergasted. He's so far above her she would need the Hubble Telescope to see the top of the hole she's in. His books and Jackson's movies are better. --but of course this is just my personal opinion and in no way belittles your likes or preferences.
You've got your enemy (the person that makes your life miserable most) in your sights with a sniper rifle, you've got the shot, totally untraceable, no one would ever catch you... do you take the shot?
Seconded.
Also, for the record, Tolkien is a better writer in a purely literary sense, certainly, but Rowling is infinitely better at writing characters and developing a story. She also takes way more chances and sacrifices more – the death toll at the end of the last HP book is soul-crushing. Tolkien didn't even come close to that. But he sure could describe environments (as well as his own invented cultures) with pitch perfect detail, so like Nuke said, personal opinion/likes and preferences.
How many times do you brush your teeth per day?

FF7 REMAKE!? Holy shit
Favourite FF7 character is a tough one: Cait Sith/Reeve is great comic relief mixed with really good character development, Tifa is an all-round badass, Vincent, whilst coming across a bit hair-flicky these days, is still a classic cool/mysterious guy, the Turks are generally hilarious
It's just packed with classic characters really

Also anticipating the PC release of the same game.
EDIT:
Shit, it's a new question now.
Fav character is Sephiroth.
SQ
Sephiroth, easy. However, if I have to choose a hero it'd be Cid.
It's official:
Favorite moment in FFVII?
All of it ha-son
The second disc is great. Intense boss fight after intense boss fight. Aeries dying made the 10-yr-o version of me cry the first time. Getting to play as Cid was pretty cool, too. The caves under Cosmo Canyon – that door that holds the spirit of the Gi tribe leader is ****ing creepy.
I could go on.
