I try to live a PG-13 life, but many times it spills over to an R or NC-17 rating.

Dont you have to be 18 to get into R movies?

i think so, why?

figured as much, though...

cuz if you have to be 18 to get into R movies, what is the point of NC-17 and why is that looked upon as a more severe rating if you only have to be 17 to get into? heres an example of what i mean. The movie Eyes wide shut, with tom cruise and nicole kidman. Is a pretty graphic flick pretaining to nudity and sexual content. well after the movie was finished, they were told if they diddnt cut out certain scenes the film would have been given an NC-17 rating. Now this happens amongst many movies. If it the final product before editing would be so much more violent or graphic then why would it be rated NC-17 if that material isnt cut,but require ou to be 18 after that mateiral is cut?
