It wans't really meant to be explained and if they tried they would have a law suit against them from the creators of the Terminator. It was meant to to pay tribute to T2 either that or to just steal their ideas.

hmm...why would smallville play tribute to T2 and at least with all the other pple who (im guessing the meteor rock did this to him) were affected told at least that it was kryptonite

Several different reasons.

1. Pehaps the director or writers admire the Terminator films and wanted to pay tribute to it.

2. Maybe the director or writers have been inspired by James Cameron and his work and wanted to pay tribute to him.

Well its like I said before its either tribute or theft.

seems more like a ADD attack to me

next week's episode looks disturbing. not scary disturbing. just the fact of what those machines look like and using kryptonite to become pretty. strange. going to be interesting i guess.

Yeah I think season 4 might be better than season 3 this year. Anyone agree?

hmm...hard to say. been a while since i saw season three. hard to remember somethings. it was hella sick when clark got his laser eyes. this season...hmm...i would have to see more of this season to judge it. like maybe halfway through it.

Well I think the flying has definitely impressed me already.

same here. but i'll be patient on passing judgement for this season. can't wait for clark himself to learn to fly.

True we will have to see what happens with Lex and Clark this season. I don't think Clark will fly until its all over maybe in the last episode.

no duh. i know that. they got to save up the goods for last. of course. i was just saying. future stuff. can't wait to see how clark and lex's conflict becomes worse and what happens for the female characters.

Yeah hopefully we will see Lex catch Clark using one of his powers. Lois Lane should be interesting to see especially with Lana around.

Lex cannot catch him using his powers. (I know he did, but...)

With all that happens in the future.. there is no way that Lex can know who Superman is.

I want to see a Lana/Lois catfight!! Hell Yeah!

He can see him just as long as they find some type of reason for it not to go any further just like before.
