Over the last few weeks, I've had an explosion of hits for this little blog. Now, these aren't due to anything I've written or any witty observations I might have had. No, these are hits from people looking for tips on KotOR 2. I figured, since no walkthroughs are up yet, I'd answer some questions that bring people here.
How do you find the silver/red/cyan/whatever lightsaber crystal?
No idea on this one. Most of the stuff available in The Sith Lords is random. This means where you might find a lightsaber crystal (the Duros shopkeeper on Citadel Station, the sick man on Nar Shadaa), it's unpredictable what color it might be. In fact, Geriel the sick guy could also give you a power crystal. If you desperately need a particular color, save a game before accessing the Duros' inventory, then just reload until you get what you want.
The same story for Jedi Robes. Plus, the only way to get Master Robes is to kill a Master.
Can I get my original lightsaber back?
Nope. Atris has it, and kill her as often as you like, she never gives it back.
The bronze and the orange crystals look red on my big screen.
But I never actually had a red one equipped at the same time as the bronze or orange so I wouldn't have a direct comparison.
I pretty much bought out that chick on Dantooine who is selling all the stolen Jedi artifacts. I got a Master Robe on Malachor V from a Sith Lord. It was weird because I was expecting some Sith specific robe, but instead it was Jedi.
How cheap is this game when you use Master Speed with dual light sabers and Master Flurry? Christ, I was killing Sith Mauraders, Lords, and assassins in one attack.
Like i said...I don't remember where I got it. 😮
I'm thinking about taking a digital photo of my TV screen to prove it because I didn't know about Bronze...and I'm worried about skeptics.
Actually I thought it was an upgrade to the light saber when I got it, but when I started to actually build the saber, I found it with the rest of the colored goods.
Not sure, but try Dantooine with the chick that sells all the Jedi goods.
