Many of you say you don't think Hyperspace is worth paying for. You say that it is "advertising" or an "unfinished product".
First, it's not advertising. If it was advertising, you wouldn't be seeking it out. It is something of interest to you. If it was just advertising for something you're not interested in, you wouldn't even have to be involved with it at all. So why do you want it? You want it because it shows you a behind-the-scenes look at how they make these movies. That is worth something.
Which brings me to my second point. Some have said that Hyperspace is a look at an unfinished product, therefore you shouldn't pay for it. The point of Hyperspace is to give you a look behind the scenes -- to show you exactly how they put this movie together. That's what it's for. It's for people who are interested in the production aspect, not just the finished film. That is worth something to a lot of people.
Besides, there are many unfinished products that people would be willing to pay for. If someone said, "I'll sell you the first draft of the United States Constitution," that would be worth buying. Even though it's not the final product, it's of great value. If someone said, "I have the very first Spider-Man comic ever made, but they forgot to run it through the coloring process. It's one of only 5 original comics that are only in black and white," collectors would be willing to pay tons of money for that. So you see, even though Hyperspace isn't the whole picture, it's still of value to you. Yet you don't want to pay for it.
Why not? Because you saw each movie 10 times in the theater? Because you bought action figures, clothes, etc? How is Hyperspace any different? If it's because it's just online instead of being something you can hold in your hands, just save the stuff to your computer and print it out. Put all of the webdocs on a DVD and watch it on your TV or something.
If you really thought Hyperspace isn't worth money, then why do you want it? You come here to see all of this amazing stuff which you get excited about, yet you don't think it's worth anything?
