Actually britain got alot of benefits from the war.

And if any country is going to talk about being ruined, its Germany after ww1, and france after both.

Eastern europe was HUGE mess, western europe got off well... though countries like Belgium had it very hard till end of the 50s

yeah... and the US lost over 5,000 men on Dday compared to the british: 1500.

But Canada, believe it or not, lost the most airmen in the conquest of France( or liberation rather).

lemme tell you, the city I live in was bombed by your RAF because the library was a munition stack... they thought

I'm sorry but I'm not undermining your intelligence, I'm pointing out you missed out countries that participated BIG TIME and that you also have no idea what it is to be ruined, personally or for an entire country
