Hellboy versus Blade

Blade's sword has an acid edge. And can anyone confrim Hellboy surviving bullets to the head? If not we got ourselves a weiner.

Hellboy can take patriiot missles to the head. He's on another level. A more appropriate fight might be the hulk.

ummm, I don't know exactly where you're getting your silver idea from, perhaps some folklore or something? But silver is not one of Hellboy's weaknesses.

Again, another Blade thread.....what is it with Blade. Once a character gets a movie, he can stand up to the strongest of the multi-verse. What's next? Blade vs. Superman? Blade vs. Hulk? Blade vs. Hellboy? Oops....sounds funny when you say it out loud.

Mercilous: Quite right. In some folklore, demons can be hurt or killed by silver. I just thought that it might apply to Hellboy as he is a demon.

Abaddon: Blade's a really cool character. I agree he may not be able to take Superman or some of those guys, but he's no lightweight. It's fun to think about how he'd do against others.

Yeah them too, but Hellboy's got no discernable weakness that i know of and for sure none that Blade can produce.

DarkCrawler: Werewolves are the most well-known example, but I assure you that they are not the only supernatural beings said to have a vulnerability to silver.

If hellboy's skull can resist a hyper velocity 9mm uzi round then hellboy. Otherwise, Blade.

umm, hellboy also knows alot of incantations that could help him in a battle, not to mention his right arm isnt called the Right Arm of Doom for nothing, and his gun made by a piece of the original cross and bullets specifically made to kill any super-natural being there is

silver wont hurt hellboy, it'll hurt him about as much as any other metal would, which isnt anything big

not to mention when he lived in hell hitler was his |3itch lol

But none of that will help him if he gets a normal 9mm in his head...

Yes, as i posted above, he could survive a patriot missle to the head.

hellboy fights the super-natural in general, blade has a hard time with just vampires.....getting shot by hellboy's gun alone wouldnt only open a 4 inch hole in blades chest, but it'll have about everything blade is weak against coursing through his veins

Blade doesnt have trouble with vampires at all... he has trouble with vampire BLOOD GODS... and DRACULA. Pfft.

Blade has no vampiric weaknesses except the thirst...

When blade drinks blood he becomes much stronger and faster and all that nonsene. Much like when Hellboy changes. Except when Hellboy changes he becomes VERY VERY scary.

good point, and of course both try to stay away from having those powers, but still its a boy who came from hell and fights all super-natural enemies, while blade just battles vampires (whether it be blood gods or not)

Definately HB...he's got an amazing dexerity and theres no way Blade could deal with HB when he's royally pissed off.

The winner, without doubt, is HB.
