Science Doesn't Have All The Answers

Started by Cipher4 pages

The solution to a problem is the answer to the problem......

And scientists come up with theories when they're not sure of the answer but have an idea.....

Nasa afflliates told me that i should microwave hot-daogs for 40 seconds. It take 70 seconds to fully microwave my hot-dog. After this i dont listen to anything NASA has to say. All NASA is, are a bunch of people sitting around creating big words that no one has ever said. Then they have a meeting using those big words. No one knows what the hell they are saying, but hey there NASA they must kno what there talking about

science doenst give you ansewers...it gives you theorys and solutions

Science is the search for truth and answers. It spends most of it's time working with theories and hypothes茅s until it occasionally arrives at answers and solutions.

These answers and solutions are NOT acceptable to the scientist until they have been proven by rigorous testing, after which they hand over these answers and solutions for us to make practical use of in our everyday lives.

Religion just weaves complex patterns around unproven fables and fictions until the religious observers think it is all real !

And... how is science related to belittling each other? At least science doesn't mislead people into thinking that everybody who disagrees with it is WRONG, and that they can even be killed for it...
Isnt science a way of life? Also I never mentioned that science is responsible for killings. Plz dont ramble and then act like it came out of someone else.

Science doesn't have all the answers, its really just a bunch of lies covered up with new lies repeatly over and over again. It's funny how most people blindly believe what a group of scientists say.

Theory and reality are two different things.

Science is the search for the truth, religion is the search for yourself, and was originally a search for the truth. Science and religion aren't really all that different at all.

well, technically, science doesn't have any answers... I've just completed A Level Biology, and, when doing my coursework, my teacher told me that, although you could prove a theory wrong in science, you couldn't actually prove it right, just that it had the highest proobaility of being the correct hypothesis...

religion - a search for truth? that must be a joke.
once you start taking religious text seriously, u pretty much close ur mind off to anything that is contradictary to the text, even though there are solid evidence that prove otherwise.

takes creation of the world in six days, some people still believe in this, mind you in an age where man have gone to space, landed on the moon and taken photographs of other galaxy. we have make conception outside the body possible, so that infertile couples can now have kids.

evolution, there are findings upon findings of various fossils, there are enough evidence to at least support that theory, but the religious community would never except it, why? becasue it contradict the bibble.
even now, some schools in the US still donot include it in their biology textbook. they have sunday school to learn about how god make all the millions of species of animals one at a time, why shouldn't they be allowed to learn an alternative, more plausible theory?

some people who are religous because it is impart to them from childhood would not even consider that there might not be a god, don't even question it, how can you know for sure which side is true if you don't question and analyse both sides critically?
agnostic and anthiest at least ask themselves first wether there is/are god/s then they weight the evidences.

a search for truth means questioning, questioning, then keep on questioning, and that's what science do.
on the other hand i think there's a quote from the bible that go something like, if you question the lord then you are a non-believer.
that's what faith do, they eliminate the questions, so you live a dream-like world where you have all the answers, if not then there is an omniscient being who will see to everything and make it all right. you don't have to question him, if he wants you to know you will.

religious commnuity like the vetican, infact, keep people ignorant because of their stubborness in believing the bible word for word or keeping to their own (mostly) unreasonable stance.

anti artificial contraception - people in the developing world who are god-fearing people would not use it because the church says it is a sin, so they end up having more kids than they could afford, and do you think the vetican would come down to help them? how many of those religious people who are educated would stop having sex or have loads of kids they can't afford, rather than using artificial contraceptives, just because the vetican is against it?

they continuously make the claim that condon is not safe even though experiments have shown them to be safe. the result? people in the developing country who have lttle or no education, often believe it, so they never though to use it to protect themselves against sexually transmitted diseases.

it is religion that lies not science becauses science never claim to know anything without a doubt.
the only way i would ever believe that religion, as we know it today, is about seeking the truth is when all the religious institutions start to revive their religiou texts, then rip out those that is proven to be false, and admit that they were wrong.
this is something the scietific community does all the time.

But there is the theory of continuous creation... not siz days but six stages

and, btw, do you have any idea how many generalisations you just made there?

please tell me.

Science isn't a bunch of lies covered up with more lies.......

Its about studying the world and learning from what is found.
Religion was about explaining things that people didn't understand before they
had the knowledge they do in the last few centuries or so.....
