Wat Tambor and the techno union in ep3
Something occured to me when I first saw Wat Tambor in AOTC. At First I thought it may have a bearing on vader and his creation, but once I read about grevious it seems may be there is a bit of a theme here starting with AOTC that will lead us directly through ROTS.
To quote from the episode 3 databank on the original site:
"As befitting a technocrat, Wat Tambor is entirely encased in machinery and is even reliant on technology to speak. His deep, resonant voice is strangely mechanical, modulated by a set of dials built into his torso. "
That seem to ring any bell's? We've been lead to belive that Grevious is basically a sort of 'super driod' as it were. Part Alien and part driod. Now as the techno union make the driods [correct me if I'm wrong plz] It would make sense that grevious was created or deveoped by the techno union on the order of the sith or dooku misleading them.
With Grevious being sort of a prototype Vader we can draw a conclusion from this that the voice sound for Grevious will be somewhere in between Wat Tambor's voice box and Vader's. (Although I still think it would be good for him to have a sort of rougher version of the vader voice by James Earl Jones).
Anyone else got any thoughts on this? Incidently i was watching some lucas interviews from the Lazer disk rips I have and it was interesting to note that he mentions about a battle on the wookie home planet that he removed from ep4 in an early draft. Looks like he's definatly recycling ideas eh?
