how do you clear the old addresses youve been to on the internet

looking at pr0n and not wanting people to find out eh?
open an explorer window, go to Tools/interenet options then click on delete cookies/ files or clear history, all have data on where you've been

you go to history, and then you find the site, right click on it, and press delete

or go to tools on the tool bar. then click internet options, then clear history.

clearing history doesn't help sometimes. If u type an address in the address bar, or words in a search bar, then sometimes they're saved, ie porn coughcough. I forgot how to get rid of them

SHAME ON YOU ALL! 😠

hey offer some help or dont comment
i know u can clear the location on netscape try the diff drop down menus

For Mozilla, go to Tools-->Options-->Privacy-->Saved Form Information. Click Clear and everything should go bye bye. Don't know for IE

For IE, to remove and autosaved addressed in the address bar, go to Delete History. I'm still not sure how to get rid of search terms, like when u got to Yahoo, and type something in and it saves it. I can't get rid of that.

I wouldn't be where I'm at right now without know how to delete that stuff.

i'm not sure if you can get rid of the search bar thinggies...
but, about the addresses...clearing the history is the way..

you can get rid of everything.
delete history, and delete cookies.

if it doesn't help you can re-install windows if you are very desperate 😖

Also, in your internet Options, make sur you set the "keep history" to 0.

It will earase all Your internet history every day at Midnight... every day at.. every Night at midnight.

Lol man all these replies and you still arn't giving the guy the right answer. No don't re install anything if clear history still doesn't delete websites when your typing them in the address bar go to
Tools > Internet Options > Contents > Auto Complete > Clear forms

If you don't want autocomplete to work when your typing in sites in your url bar then uncheck the web address option. That should fix your problem. 🙂
