I dont think they're immortal. I just think he cant kill him for the same reason that Whidmore changed the rules on the situation. It must be that this has happened before.

I wont be surprised Whidmore used to control Dharma. Also, it must be a mechanical panel in his room that can control the monster, or atleast call it.

Also properly has to do something with the valcano which is apparently going to be a key story point soon [Ben was covered in soot, and Jacob's cottage is surrounded in ash]

i dont know, I was really starting to like Danielle so I really want her to be ok 🙁

I think their story was already over with and it came full circle when Danielle and Alex were reunited. I dont think there was much use for the characters.

Yeah they have not shown her body yet so maybe she is still alive.

I was surprised that the writers decided to have Alex killed so coldly.

Also, I think that there's some kind of bet/competition between Ben and Charles. I get that suspicion based a various things through out the series, and their conversation in the London hotel seemed to me like they were more like rivals in a competition as opposed to mortal enemies.

What Volcano? I don't remember any...

I don't know what Ben was covered in, but I don't think Smokey is made out of smoke (ash). It must be somekind of metallic substance (electromagnetism in the island and what not), In the latest podcast (or somewhere else, I don't remember) it said that we shouldn't called it "Smoke Monster", maybe that's why Ben said he didn't know about a smoke monster...

I don't think Whidmore controlled Dharma, he should know where the island is if that were so? shouldn't he? Dharma was founded by Alvar Hanso. Now what happened to him, I don't now. .. And Whidmore bought the Hanso's log book (the black rock log book) maybe that was around the time his chase for the Island began

There's some theories floating around involving Timetravel and/or Teletransportation: Ben appeared out of nowhere (there were no footprints or anything around him) He was using a parka
(he must have been in somewhere cold before showing up there, he was shaking and somekind of vapor emanated from him....... remember the polar bear?...), the parka had yet another logo (one that looks like a Time Travel Tunel from a 60's show... or the the one used in Austin Powers, if you can't remember that far back 😄 ) and it belonged (presumably) to Dr. Halliwax (remember that criptic video of a new station, the Orchid, if I'm not mistaken?)

.... and He didn't know exactly what (date) year it was...

About him and Whidmore: I wonder when did they met, but it clearly must have been after he killed the entire Dharma Iniciative, since he never left the island until that point.

and the poor "red-shirts"... I was LMAO when they died one after the other, but thinking that's the most stupid thing I saw on Lost this season, it was funny, but seriously retarded

next episode will be Jack centric and

.....Charlie will be in it... a flashforward..., while on the island, Juliet will have to do some surgery, it appears with the help of Kate... and Keamy, how he survived Smokey, dunno, but maybe Ben did not wanted Keamy dead, and plans on taking revenge himself... or maybe not

Yeah, those 3 people dying was just funny.

It felt like a videogame.

Season 3, episode #20 they talk about the volcano during the Ben flashback and if you listen to the commentary for the episode they reveal the volcano is going to play a key role in the series and very soon.

-Danielle Rousseau and Carl are officially dead, as the Ghost Whisper (Miles Straume) finds their bodies as they speak to him. So he’s legit
-All the mercenaries survived the monster attack, one has an injured leg….yeah…ok
-Jin makes a deal with Charlotte to get Sun off the island
-Jack’s appendix is removed
-Christian Shephard visits Claire during the middle of the night, and actually was holding and taking care of Aaron and she leaves with him during the night
-Claire leaves Aaron and Swayer finds him.

Off-island
-Jack and Kate are living together and taking care of Aaron
-Jack sees Hurley in the hospital who thinks that the Oceanic 6 are all dead, and gives Jack a message sent by Charlie saying, “your not suppose to raise him”
-Jack proposes to Kate (she says yes)
-Christian Shephard visits Jack during the night, but they don’t talk
-Sawyer wanted to stay on the island
-Kate is doing something unknown that she made a promise to Swayer she would do

sorry but that episode was a little... 😖

I kept waiting for something big to happen and nothing really did....

I felt bad for Hurley - he was probably the best part of this episode

I want to know what Kate is doing for Sawyer

and I am thinking Christian Shephard = smoke monster
