I like the "twist". Had Jack
Spoiler:.I was expecting him to go save him. Im glad he stuck to his word. The Hugo/Miles interact were pretty funny. I guess now we know why Ben didnt remember Sayid. I wonder though, If the smoke monster can heal people, Why did Ben even needed Jack to save him with his tumor on Season 2? Especially since smokey already saved Ben once.

Awesome episode. This show just keeps getting better, I swear.
One thing I had on my mind after the episode:
What would it be like if we watched the show from a different perspective, like let's say Ben's, instead of the Oceanic survivors? It's the story of a guy that was born in the mid-60's, is raised by his dad, who may or may not be a jerk. He goes off to an island in his early teens with his dad. On this island there is a tribe of natives that they have to watch out for. One day the people his dad's working for captures one of these natives. Ben, being the innocent, good kid that he is, feels sorry for this captive and takes him food. When his dad finds out he beats him. So out of anger he lets this captive out, and he is betrayed and shot. Next thing he knows, he's given a second chance at life by this tribe. 30 years later, a plane crashes on "his" island.... and the show ensues.
The thing is no one sees it like that because that's not how the show was presented. It could have gone that way with Alpert, but it didn't. So all we know of these people is what the "Losties" know about them. They, and us for that matter, may be 100% wrong about them, and we won't know it. I mean look, Sawyer, Juliet and Kate found out yesterday for the first time that Ben was a nice kid for the first time!!
So many layers here.... I love it.

Also, I like the new Jack...a man of faith. I think he'll eventually go back to his old self more, and become a mix of himself circa season 1-4 and Locke, a man who is a medium between the two extremes.
