Star Wars TV Series Fall 2006

Simon James sends us this exciting news with more details and confimation on the TV series:
I don't know if this is old news, but I haven't heard of it before. In one of the magazines my company publishes (License! Europe) Howard Roffman, the President of Lucas Licensing, confirms their will be "...in Autumn 2006 there will be a complete live action Starwars TV series made by Lucasfilm".

The magazine is not "out" yet, my office copy arrived today so perhaps this is new news for you - or old stuff I've missed out on. Still I thought I'd let you know, just in case.
We're known this date for quite a while, but this is the first time someone made it official. Awesome!

The New ILM company opening in the far east (Japan I think) is said to be geared towards TV production. Coincidence? I think not.

thats cool....dont know why they cant tell us what the series is gonna be about, i mean there almost saying"were gonna make a tv show about star wars,but dont know exactly what its gonna be about"...lol

Tfn had some report about some head guy at LFL(I don't remember who) that said it is slated for fall 2006. I hope it is a variety show. I don't mean like Laugh In or something I mean like a bunch of stories throught time in the SW galaxy. It'll be fun, I don't know how good, but I'll watch it for sure. Though I'll probably forget to watch it just like how I forget to watch Justice League Unlimited

This is my General attitude about the TV show:

If its cool then good, if gets canceled then good.

Besides one thing we havn't been speculating on is: what channel will it be on?, and most importantly: what time of day?. It will most likely be on FOX, but if it is on Saturday morning inbetween Pokemon and Transformers then we could have a serious problem.

even if its not good i'm gonna watch it.....what can i say,i love star wars dude!!!!!!!!

i do too man, but if it is a total kiddy show like ewoks or sumpin, won't you feel a little disgusted.
