Slipknot [merged]

I find Slipknot to be a very poor representation of what a extreme metal band is, any little 12 year old who wants to rebel will listen to Slipknot because the sing about teen being angry and rebelious. If a kid wants to rebel listen to Mayhem, Emperor or some of The Beserker, that should scare your folks.

I hate the fact little fan boys like them it give them such a bad name.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I hate it. I mean, sure, the masks are cool, but I like Slipknot for their music, which is awesome 😉

they make really average music tho lol...there nothing special about ANY of their songs, they play average music and because they have masks they became popular.

face it, theyre nothing more than average, they rode into fame on the back of a gimmick

its because they arent as hevy as other thrash and have a newish sound so kids like them for that
