Anime Newbie-tends to only see anime on tv PLUS a few (as on 5 or less)anime outside tv.Doesn't read or reads little manga.

Anime sophomore-Sees a fair amount of anime(maybe 20 outside TV) but doesn't really consider anime outside America. reads fair amount of manga.

Anime senior-Seen 50+ anime outside tv, reads/watches series not released in America, reads a good deal of manga,etc.

Well this is non applicable to me since I live in Ireland and there is no stations that actually show animé.

Thus I buy all my anime online. Forgot to mention I also got a Fruits Basket hat and keyring.

i guess i'm a newbie then, i watch loads of anime (obviously outside america since i live in uk) but my parents think stuff like that is a waste of time so i can't buy manga. the only manga i've really got into is dramacon and 2 others (can't be botherd to remember the names) but i'm interested in the manga kame kaze.

in the UK i dunno... lol ummmm scanlations are scans of raw manga that are translated by regular ppl

BLEACH is a little complicated to explain to someone who hasn't seen the first episode (the episode sorta explains the whole thing). Basically, there are two types of spirits in the world: wholes, and hollows. A whole is a good spirit, like the ghost of a grandfather that contacts you or something. A hollow, on the other hand, is an evil spirit which goes around eating people's souls. To keep the hollows in check, there are shinigami, or soul reapers, that destroy them so they can pass on to Soul Society (which is somewhat like heaven). There are certain people who have a high concentration of spirit energy, and can therefore see spirits. The main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, is one of those people.

It is a very interesting anime, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good story with plenty of action and angst mixed in.

Bleach sounds really good!!! I'm watching hack//legend of the twilight at the moment and i have just about finished trigun (one left), so i think ill watch that next!!!

Bleach is really good! There was so much hype about it that I decided to watch it, and I got hooked! I'm on episode 55 ^_^
