Scum of the Earth

Ok, this kicks ass. Since Rob Zombie and PM5K are broke up, the lead guitarists for each band started a new band, Scum of the Earth. So far, the only song I've heard is "Murder Song" which sounds a lot like a song that would be made by Rob Zombie except without his vocals. Their CD comes out Oct 26 and I hope that their other songs are as good as "Murder Song". Go to their website to hear it.

powerman did not break up just switched their memebers

Rob's band is on a break but he is considering retiring the band completely to make more movies.

Powerman is still going? I thought they broke up when the record company went down. I heard that they wanted to piece things back together but damn that was fast. Its kind of a shame then, I liked the guy who joined SOTE.

"Scum of the Earth" is a Rob Zombie song, from the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack...just some useless information.

Yeah, but the song is heavily influenced by Riggs. He has since childhood thought about using "Scum of the Earth" as a band title so I'm sure he was the influence behind that song. My first thought was that he was ripping Rob off by using that title but it turns out it was his idea in the first place.

thanks

Ok, that song definitely rules.

I really hope Rob Zombie does not give up music for film. He's a far better musician then he is filmmaker.

Definitely. Well, I bet he'll at the very least continue to make songs for his soundtracks even if it is without his band.

Ok, after checking a bunch of stores that didn't have the CD (including Music Wearhouse) I ordered it. It arrived today and all I have to say is if you like Rob Zombie, GET THIS CD!!!!

agreed, i didnt like House of 1000 corpses to much

Ok, couple things.

1. Did anybody but me get this CD?
2. What do you think?
3. If you did get it, how the f*ck do you get the media mixer to work?

I got this CD, bought it at Tower Records the day it came out. It's totally awesome, hell yeah, my favorite songs are Pornstar Champion, Altargirl 13, and Bloodsucking Freakshow.

I did get the Umixit features to work, no problem. I just installed the CD in my cdrom, and the enhanced content menu poped up, then i clicked on the thingie to install the Umixit media mixer and after installing it, i'm able to totally remix the song "Get Your Dead On". I can totally pull out the guitars, or the vocals, i can save a new mix of the CD, everything, ot's pretty damn cool!

F*CK! Why didn't it work for me then? I was hoping I just overlooked something.
