I need some chill instrumental songs

por favor.

I'm trying to make a chill instrumental mix, so far I only have like 4 or 5 songs.

Alias - Am I Cool Now?

Sole - Clean Living
Sole - Things Got Ugly

first ones that came to mind. I'll post mp3 links when I get home.

right click on the links then click on 'Save Target As' to download them.

Am I Cool Now?

Clean Living

Things Got Ugly

here's a couple more, all by Sole.

Triptych Part One (a little weird, and its got some sampled and distorted vocals in the middle and at the end)

Seven

Cent

Black Star - Respiration
Talib Kweli and DJ Hi Tek - 2000 Seasons
Pip Skid - Hypochondriac
Qwel - Chicago Barbecue
Blackalicious - Make You Feel That Way

Some of the best ones that came to mind first. I'll add some more when I think about it longer.

erm...Make You Feel That Way isn't instrumental.

try to get hold od a double cd called, euphoria, it came out in 2000, brilliant for chilling.

yeah, but i'm trying to make a mix.

Yes it is. It's in instrumental form. Actually I should say it's by Cheif Excel. All the songs I posted are instrumentals. I have them right here.

well the Blackalicious version of Make You Feel That Way has lyrics.

If you know who Blackalicious is, Chief Excel is the producer. There's an instrumental version of the album. Gift of Gab didn't produce the track, so that's why I later said it was a Cheif Excel song. The instrumental is great. Beautiful.

yeah, i know that XCel is the producer and DJ

I said it was under Blackalicious, but you should know what I'm talking about. In fact, the instrumental album is under Blackalicious. Just thought you wanted some chill instrumentals. Didn't know you'd be so anal about it.

i'm not being anal, just talking, hard to show emotion over the internet. I was just wondering if you'd typed something wrong or something, or if you misread the thread title.

Yea it is. My fault, I just thought you were saying it wasn't an instrumental because it was also released with lyrics. In fact, the very first single from Blazing Arrow was Make You Feel That Way and all the single copies included the instrumental version. That's the album I own (on vinyl) with the instrumental. So it's been out for some time. A great chill instrumental, IMO.

there is and group called third eye open that do tool songs in Orchestral form they are realy good
(i know that this thread has nothing to do with this i was just bored)

Eruption - Van Halen

i'll try and find it if soulseek ever stops being a btich

Yea, the server keeps crashing. It's probably because of the new members. SLSK is notorious for that. Can't handle it. What's your user name on SLSK? I'll add ya to my list.

Back to the topic, have you ever heard any Fat John, Science Fiction, or Yesterday's New Quintet albums? They're really really great, and a majority of their songs are very chill. I'd give you some examples, but I'm not sure if you haven't heard of them. Also, since you have SLSK, d/l mcenroe - Billy's Vision. It's amazing. Aside from a track or two, the whole albums chill. It's a "true" instrumental album because outside of one track, none of the songs have ever had lyrics released with it. The one being borrowed by John Smith for his first solo album (the track ended up being called Blunderbussin' on the album) John Smith's Blunderbus, or "in transit", which except for track 7, mcenroe entirely produced. I highly recommend it, and I think you'd enjoy it.

my slsk name = fbslp27.

i'm using Ares now, it's much better
