LMAO. ummm.. ok NO. the first movie is no preguel, its a changed version of the first game. the first game is about a mansion in racoon city that was a lab in reality. this mansion also was underground but like only 2 lvl or so(according to my book) and anyway some how the spill a virus and all hell breaks lose, some guy is sent to fix the prob but cant so he lets go a nemises like thing called tyrant to clean it all up, and he turns on self destructed mode and house goes BANG. and the second one is about them trying to steal the G virus away from dr. berken and then in a fight to get is he uses it on him and spills the t virus which turns the city to zombies. so really the first movie is a cheap copy and no prequel (pluss RE 0 is a prequel and explains some wierd crap never beat that game yet) and the second movie kind of a mix of 2 and 3. but anyway the third will prolly just be based on alice(shakes head). stupid but prlly true.

Yeah I was pretty disapointed about that.

In RE 2 Alice died at the end and they broght her back, I mean what was the point of that. Also why did Mike Epps character live at the end. The only two characters that should have lived were Carlos and Valentine.

Uhh... in the first movie they werent in racoon city, and I know this because when you see the virus break out in the movie thats the first time the virus has come into contact with human subjects to create zombies... the mansion that you see is strictly for alice and her make believe life.. the forest that you see in the end of the 2nd movie is closer to the mansion in the 1st game... but you wouldnt know that cuz you were too fast on trying to prove me wrong..

k dude if the first movie wasn't at racoon then when they opened the gates again, y were all the zombies there and no where else(becuase it was under racoon city). and that mansion u see at the start of the first movie is fake or in her head its real, becuase at the end before they take away that guy there in it again. and i no almost everything about the real RE stuff since i have beaten all the PS games and read all the books. im a RE fanatic.

the movies didnt tie into the games whatsoever, to be honest the movies were terrible, they only took the appearance and names of the characters and believed that was enough, ooh the nemesis program, big f.ucking deal, the characters were terrible, the hispanic carlos wasnt even hispanic(as u said earlier) its embarrassing to call those movies resident evil at all. and the alice character has to be one of the most pointless characters in movie history.

just had to get that off my chest.

yeah, why oh why oh why, i personally blame anderson and the writers, they made the first one so bad the series couldnt be saved in the second movie.
