I dislike disney on basic principal, they over price, and sell cheap toys to kids who don't know any better.
I do like Pixar, but it's hardly fair to give disney credit for them, they started years earlier and disney just bought them after they got popular with Toy Story. Besides Dream Works dose better Comp. animation, antz was better than a bugs life, shrek was better than monsters inc.
Disney movies are generic and dull for the most part, they have often have good beginning but have corny endings.
There are good things about disney
1) they mostly have great music
2)they've sponsored some good things
3)they're always appropriate for young children
disney does promote an image of the "perfect" woman to girls, I think this among the best reasons to be against them
Snow white, cinderella, poca., jasmine, belle (means beauty) that woman from hercules (whatever her name was) ariel, even the movies with animals like Lady and the Tramp and 101 D. has emphasis on looks. They promote a very shallow view of the world.

the others are nice too of course, but the lion king was just great 🙂

with the new ones, pixar knows how to make great ones , especially now with Finding Nemo which was cute

im 16 and I watch almost nothing but disney movies. Finding Nemo is their best so far. CG animated or otherwise.
