Better listen to some tracks on MP3.com or cdnow.com or something. bands such as this are a very, very acquired taste. You also have to be able to descramble their incoherent mumbling and barking of lyrics at 100 mph.

It's a shame that so many "death metal" bands have some really great actual music, but have the same old cliched "barker" on the mic. It really overwhelms a lot of bands that would otherwise get the respect they deserve.

Yeah I tend to like 3 or 4 songs on CC's albums, but thats about it. Plus usually if you do discover what the hell it is the singer is roaring about, it's often something really, really gross.

Much better death metal bands: Sepultura, Therion, Morbid Angel, Cryptopsy.

Really really gross? "I Cum Blood", "Meat Hook Sodomy"? I thought that was normal dinner talk...
