Normally they would not stand a chance but because Naraku brought them back he put a little power in them or something. I am not sure. Then on top of that they are on what is called Mt. Hoku and a priest put a barrier that will purify a kill demands so it is making Inu weak.
Well now on top of things, because if Inu gets to close to the mountain it will kill him so Songo and Muroku went on alone to face what is left of the band of 7. Then Naraku is at the top of the mountain and no one knows why he could get up there, but we do know the priest's mummy that hold up the barrier is in Naraku's poesition.

OK there by this mountain, and its holly. Like deamons cant go near it. In simple terms theres a barrier around the mountain. It is so strong that even aproaching it hurts. By the time they get to the barrier, shippo and Kira are passed out. Inuyasha cause hes half demon, cant cross threw cause hes demon, if he does he shall be purrified AKA Killed.

His sword turns to this diamand thing and he swings and like shoots dimands...............If he was smart hed collect them when hes done. The attack its self kicks ass but doesnt matter like sess Naraku is now imortal.
