The anime is done, and doesn't seem likely to be continued. One-hundred sixty-seven episodes without managing to resolve the story. That's ... impressive, in a pathetic sort of way.

I haven't got to see the last episode...do they ever kill Naraku??? I've seen all the movies and yeah, I think if the series was to be finished with a movie, It would probably be better and more exciting! 😄 I wonder what anime has lasted the longest...

I heard that their going to have the 5th InuYasha movie out in december.

Thats the problem. The project could have been canned a long time ago. Untill there is a current soucre a fifth movie will not be made anytime soon.

any thoughts on the story's conclusion and the defeat of naraku? pleased? disappointed? most people seem to think its been beaten to death and that the ending was/is anticlimactic, but im not too disappointed. any thought?
