I bet I'm the only person here who likes Kikyou. Seriously, she's my favorite character, then following is Inuyasha. I don't understand why people say they hate Kikyou because "she's a cold-hearted evil ***** who only wishes to take Inuyasha to hell". That's not true, because that is not Kikyou. As Kaede said,"That is not my sister. Her rebirth is only a sham." Oh, but you guys are probably going to hate me for what I'm about to add..
I -despise- Kagome.. I mean, I hate Kagome probably more than you guys hate Kikyou. She's my least favorite character.. I mean, Jaken is more amusing.. How can you people like her? I mean.. she's whiny, spoiled, and clueless. On top of that, she thinks she knows everything. I was suprised to find out that she wasn't the only child of some rich couple in the present day. I feel so sorry for Sota because he has to live with her. I mean, my oldest sister and I -really- have some problems (she's tried to poison me a few times..), but jeeze.. Have you seen the first move, Affections Touching Across time? Sota complements her cooking and she gets all "None for you!" Then he calmy says "Aw, come on, sis. Don't be so stingy." And she just kind of glares at him saying,"You're REALLY starting to get an ATTITUDE lately!" I mean, who's the one with the attitude here?
Kagome is the most human character in INuyasha.You hate her for the exact same reasons that most people hate Asuka(Evangelion).You can't stand the fact that shes not a single personallity'd,all cool person,but that shes flawed like a human is.
Kikyou is just annoying.Shes this annoying,bipolar prat that never goes away.I mean,that woman really needs a shrink,because she changes TO often.That and the ***** is too selfish to realize she needs to leave the scene to make the world go round.I like bitches,but if they are all as annoying as Kikyou,they wouldn't be worth my pitty and love at all.
Like I said earlier, I liked Kikyou BEFORE she died. I knew someone here would talk about her being selfish and needing to leave the scene and stuff, but that's just because Kagome's spoiled self itself in like a maggot..
I also stated that the "undead Kikyou" is not the real Kikyou. I said I liked Kikyou, not the sham of Kikyou. The reason I think so many people hate her is because she's not exactly sensitive like most girls. I know how that is. I'm not really sensitive. I guess I'm kind of like her in a way.. I've seen people die, and just stood there, not saying anything..
Before she died, Kikyou was a real woman, "Free to love. Free to hate". She had her flaws just like ever other human (just for that one person who said I hated Kagome just because she had flaws), but because of her profession, she was basically not allowed to screw up. People placed her on a high pedastol of perfection, which she could not be. It's no wonder she was so untrusting.
Of course, it was obvious from the first time we saw Inuyasha and Kikyou together BEFORE THE BETRAYAL that they were going to fall in love. It seemed so evident.. And it was so cute..! Two outcasts: One placed high on a pedastol, and one thrown out and abused.. They come together to share love, but there's always that one bastard who refuses to let it happen (Naraku).
I do think it was kind of stupid of the undead Kikyou to say that Naraku wouldn't kill her because of Onigumo's heart.. Onigumo's heart was still within him when he killed her the first time..
I do not think that Kagome and Inuyasha were meant to be together. Kagome does not belong to the Sengoku Jidai, as Inuyasha does. The only reason she is there is because of an accident. She's a stranger, a foreigner. She just doesn't belong there. She should stay in her own time. If they were meant to be together, she would've been born in the past time. Oh wait! She was! ..AS KIKYOU!..
So she doesn't belong there...did Miaka belong in the universe of the four gods?Did that chick from Escaflowne belong on Gaia?Did Hikaru belong in Cepherio?NO!It doesn;t change the fact that they fell into true love with a person that truly loved them.
Kikyou was fine as a priestess,yeh...but after that...
And FYI,that IS the real Kikyou...who has told you otherwise?How far have you actually gotten in Inuyasha?
