what you are not realizing is that... while thor is faster, juggernaut still lands blows. every time thor hits juggernaut, he leaves himself open to attack (because he doesnt usually move juggernaut, and he doesnt harm him). thats why it will ultimately be useless to go head to head with juggernaut 😉 as soon as he lands the blows... he gets hits landed on him... which in turn, hurt him. eventually this will lead up to thors eventual demise (knock out, death, whatever you wanna call it).

thor seems to have trouble with juggernaut though 😉 also, spiderman wasnt even close to defeating juggernaut. he basically ignored him and his attacks for 2 issues... spiderman later on admits that anybody physically fighting juggernaut is "wasting thier time" the x-men know of cain markos weakness (telepathic assault) and usually have a telepath present. then a team effort ensues and they drop him via telepathy. not physically. last i checked... thor wasnt a telepath. but he does have magical abilities and may be able to affect juggernaut in that manner (he already has).

I think that we are forgetting something important.
There is nothing on the earth that can hurt or stop Juggernaut.

Mjolnir=Extradimensional weapon magically enhanced by Odin.
Maybe some blows of Mjolnir charged with Thor's GodForce Blast could hurt and successfully put down Marko finally.the GFB has hurt Galactus, why it can't hurt successfully Marko.

Juggernaut took a God Force blast head on and kept coming after Thor.

BUT

in Thor's defense...I'd say that he wasn't nearly at full strength. He was suffering from seizures at the time.

actually thor wasnt... he said that his nausea had passed and the strength returned to his limbs.

when he unleashed the godforce blast he was perfectly healthy.

see his power works like this, once he turns it on (running) nothing can stop him. not even himself. it comes in handy when you are physically indestructable but arent strong enough to back yourself up...

I'd have to check the comic to remember, but I'm pretty sure his nausea wasn't cleared up until after he dealt with Juggernaut.

Either way, it wasn't his strongest God Force blast. The one he used to break open the dome to Exetar the Executioner's brain was a much stronger blast.

Thor had to wrap his power belt around it in order to contain the strength of the blast...and Mjolnir was destroyed in the process.

its not "around his neck", and taking the helmet off isnt going to do anything considering its there to block telepathic assault in the first place.
