favourite 1st person shooter?

there are a swag of these things out there, but what are your faves?
i'd hae to say Doom is the odvious one, but i really like Rise of The Triade and Wolfenstein 3D alot, they kick alot of ass too. i got Quake 2 the other day for $4 ($2 US) and Doom 1,2 and Ultimate Doom for $20 ($10US) SCORE!

unreal 2 was pretty fun when it first came out.

Battlefield 1942 probably

Half Life

Jedi Outcast, it was just plain awesome. Jedi Academy which followed wasn't as good, and I found it more addicting than No One Lives Forever or Red Faction.

Quake2, Half-Life, Doom series, Painkiller, Unreal Tournament 2004, Red Faction and many more.

Deus ex is also completly awesome

I pick these for console and PC games....Perfect Dark wasn't far off.
