Since i have made fun of you Venom fans from the beginning...look back at my comments about how desperate your attempts and suggested story lines were, that I have to say it... Be careful what you ask for!!!

Ock, you know that isn't true. More than one element from the Ultimate comics made it into the first one (the spider being genetically engineered and not irradiated, Norman Osborn deliberately using the formula on himself, Harry and Mary Jane going to high school with Peter). That doesn't mean it should have, though.

They had to use genetic engineering because that is this century scientific methods.Radiation is long past.It's why Octavius was working on fusion rather than radiation.

Peter and MJ going to school.That's replacing Gwen with MJ.Since we got no Gwen Raimi simply placed MJ in her place and gave her Gwen's personality.
The logic is if Topher Grace is in fact playing Venom then that would be the logic answer because he looks like the ultimate Eddie Brock....If Topher isnt Venom then thats out the window. But since Grace looks nothing like the other Eddie Brock, the ultimate one would make sence cause he looks like him, and he could pull that off...
