now that i think of it original Electro looks kind of stupid. kind of. The Sp1 green goblin costume was NOT cool at all. It just plain sucked. Electro is weird, his costume is sort of campy and unreallstic but i dont like ultimate Electro either. I dont want to see Topher's face if he's electro, that would be a joke.

Once again we have to school these youngsters who've never read so much as one actual Spidey book...
Uhm, comics-version Norman and Harry both wear masks when in GG guise. All of them do, except I'll exclude the Urich-version "GG" from that because I am not sure about him, and Demogoblin because I think that actually IS his face. HG wears one. Goblins all wear masks. To expect the movie version to not wear one flies in the face of logic.
That said, thumbs-up to both the Movie GG armor mask [brilliant!] and to Electro's, because it's so corny it's cute.

Truthfully, I hated the Movie!Goblin mask as well. I saw concept designs for immobile helmet-masks for the Goblin that were much better.
If I were creating a Spider-Man movie with Electro, I'd either give Electro a face mask with golden sparks radiating from the center that were completely flattened onto the head or instead have his electrical aura provide the starfish face projections, etc. when he powered up. Either way, he'd wear a dark green bodysuit with either real sparks or golden spark designs on the fabric, God dammit. The lack of dignity would be in not doing so!
