Villain For Spider-Man 3?

The long running idea I've had in my head is that it'd be awesome to have a huge battle involving the Statue of Liberty. Imagine Spider-Man and Venom swinging around on that with like a huge event going on, and people trapped on the island. You've got the "civilians in danger" element, the heights, a different location from like another mid-street battle, ground to fight on, water surrounding you, a landmark to topple, etc etc etc.

Of course this is highly unlikely now though, seeing as how Sandman would be useless in this environment. All in all though, it doesn't matter WHERE the fight takes place, it just matters that they do a good job with making it exciting and realistic. I don't want Spider-Man to go "ow, you punched me in the face. Let me take off my mask real quick..." or have a "punch for punch" match in a liquor store or something stupid like that.

You mentioned that before. I stand by what I said before. Great idea! 👆

I think we know a good bit of where the fights will take place.
Sandman
1. Bank w/ Armor Truck
2. Subway
3. Construction site
Harry
1. In the city
2. Well this is not 100% but looks like final fight at construction site
Venom
1. Construction site

That's 4 big fights scenes, well 1 HUGE one, 2 vs 2 man, thinking about that is just... awesome but hopefully Sandman will die off or something and Harry and Peter take on Venom

I'm still thinking that Venom isn't going to be killed, that the one Harry sacrifices himself to kill is Sandman.

doubtful, they r too unsure about a 4, so they will tie up loose ends and at least make him look dead, show symbiote slip off or something

obviously they are gonna tell about how venom becomes venom like how they did in the cartoon, but on the question of who dies or not, what happens to venom when he first meets spiderman on the cartoon or comic book?

i mean he has to still live to see carnage or not cus carnage might just be a villian in spiderman 4, either way im pretty sure harry is gonna die cus he's a douchebag w/ his priorities out of wack

You don't think SWS would be a good Cletus Kasady? He's got potential to look like him (its much easier to make a good looking person ugly than vice versa lol look at Theron) and he's already nuts and has the laugh to go along with it.

Yes, Johnny Depp is an excellent actor and has played roles such as Edward Scissorhands and Capt. Jack Sparrow but I wouldnt think he can portray the right amount of insanity in being Carnage. He played well as a deranged writer in Secret Window but that kind of insanity is different from what we see from Carnage in the comic books.
