Yeah the Chameleon rumors are pretty easy to dismiss with common sense.
Just look at the type of actor Church is,he normaly plays crude, low brow, cocky, obnoxous ,not to smart characters. Alot of those traits sum of the Sandman for me.Plus like Doc Ock said he sota looks likes Sandman.
If I was casting the Chameleon,I would look for a british actor.Nice pic of Church as Sandman.

Green Goblin sees himself as a victim.
Hobgoblin basically a petty thug.
I think both anologies are off.
I don't think Norman see's himself as a victim. The Goblin persona plays to Norman's lust for power and the need to be dominated over people.
The original Hobgoblin is far from a petty thug.Maybe the Macendale version but not Kingsley. What a brillient villain the original Hobgoblin was.Truely cold and calculating and the very difinition of a master crimminal.Everything was just a game to Kingsley until he gre bored with it.
Love when a villain realizes why does he need to be a costume supervillain when hes all ready rich.Shame the current Marvel writers have no use for him.

Norman was already a bit of a heel before he became Green Goblin.
Having actual power drove him compleatly off the edge.
I wouldn't think of Norman as a evil guy just a typical greedy ruthless business man who neglacts his son.
The Goblin personal magnifies these traits into acts of evil.

Norman did care for Harry. He asked Peter not to tell him that he was the Goblin before he died.
Oh when I wrote the magnifies traits part,I didn't mean the way he treated Harry.Just how I saw Norman pre Goblin.
Yeah that and the hugging scene reminded me of the Amazing Spider-Man 121 when right before Norman snapped he looks in on Harry and thinks to himself how he should have been a better father.
