Gabriel blew the door off Dumbledore's office his scar showing a faint glow. He was enraged. People around the school had been muttering that his father was a death eater and that he was helping him and he who must not be named.
"Potter you w***er!!!" Gabriel said running at Vlad his fist connecting with Vlad's cheek sending him to the floor. "Stay away Sir Harry. You too Dumbledore. How dare any of you try and taint my father's reputation. Harry, you of all people should know that my father would have nothing to do with Him. If you're meant to be such a great auror then why aren't you heading to eastern europe with my father tonight. I'm well aware you must have found the letter I sent to my father via Raven. But you obviously didn't understand. He's going to hunt a group of deatheaters But where are you? Sitting comfortably in the warmth of Dumbledore's office. I despise you, if you're so tough then why aren't you out there? I know why, because you're nothing but a lazy coward who comes running to Proffessor Dumbledore every time you need help, and as for your son. The arrogant ponce who seems to think he's a worthy challenge for Him. He wouldn't even last against a muggle."
Gabriel sent a boot in the way of Vlad's ribs. He then turned on his heel and fled from the crowded room and floors of the school. He went to the bell tower and sat, his back against the wall. He wanted to cry but never could. Except for the time that dragon cut his face. To think he was related to Vlad. He heard a flapping of wings and a recognisable chortly in the distance. He looked out to see the silhouettes of Raven and his father against the moon.
Raven flew in and perched on Gabriel's shoulder. Van landed on the stone tower and grinned at Gabriel.
"I already heard about the commotion you caused in Dumbledore's office earlier. Protecting my reputation I hear. I contacted Albus when two aurors arrived at our front door. Naturally I showed them the whole house. They couldn't find anything to do with Him proving my innocence. As to where that vicious rumour had come from I will never know."
Gabriel looked at his dad and grinned. He went up to him and gave him a big hug. Raven sqwawked happily.
"Dad, don't go to Europe tonight. Let the others go without you or let Harry take your place. I don't want you to go these men aren't going to be easy, for starters you said yourself it's both of the Malfoy's. That can't be good, especially with how powerful they are." Gabriel pleaded looking at Van.
"For starters I'm better than both put together. For seconds there's some of our best men going, even Longbottom's going. We can't lose. These men'll be back in Azkaban before the sun rises. I promise." Van gave Gabriel one last hug then mounted his broom and sped off into the night.
Gabriel watched a sinking feeling in his stomach. He knew as well as his father that they might not see each other again. He watched the silhouette of Van get smaller and smaller in the distance. A small bead of water began to form at the corner of his eye.
