I'm not saying sex before marriage isn't ok or that people who do have sex before marriage are evil and unpure, but I think that the lack of religious views, beliefs, and values today are what is causing 12 year olds to go out and get someone pregnant or get pregnant themselves. So in that respect, I would have to say that sex should be something you wait for until you are atleast 17 or 18 years old.
There are religious values and there are religious values, ie there are good and bad religious types. The good ones will not be prescriptive and will try instead to help people. ie, a good religion will advise against promiscuity, but won't ever pull out a girl's fingernails for wearing nail varnish.
I like the idea of telling them apart by gut reaction.
Yes, I agree that one should not have sex at too young an age. I think even 17 might be a little too young... but then if the person is prepared properly then it could be alright.
well, linds, that's an interesting point you raise, cause me and some others discussed this at another forum, and I blamed that on them seeing what the olders ie.: their older brothers or sisters do and want to act like them cause when they have a GF/BF and got sex, they are grown up and people listen to them
it's mimetical wanting, someone got a GF/BF, they want one too, that one got sex, they won't it too
and it's that, imho that gets them to go run around and having those problems like ending up pregnant, cause they have absolutely NO idea what that means, they think of it as, the baby is quiet all the time, barely needs to get changed, easy to entertain and barely needs toys, they see the positive things but don't see that it involves them waking up in the middle of the night cause the baby is crying etc.
I am a christian and apart of my faith is that we wait till where married to have sex.Because it says in the bible to stay pure till marrige.My faith teaches that.Im not against anyone that does it before marrige tho.I just will wait.For me ill enjoy it more when im married and dont feel guilty.Another thing is BABIES! 🙁 🙁 : you dont want them to apear!

There is nothing wrong with sex before marriage and I actually think that people SHOULD have sex before marriage. In the old days, people jumped into marriage too early because they are horny as hell. Now I know its not really quite like that all the time, but peoples' sub-concious really drove them in that direction. Plus, many guys aren't their true selves around a girl until after they have sex with them. I'm sure many of you have heard the term "Why keep feeding the fish bait once you've caught it." Sure its disappointing when you love somebody, have sex with them, and then they become a jerk or *****. But its worse when you love somebody, marry them and have sex, then they become a jerk or *****. So in conclusion, I don't believe people should wait till marriage to have sex, but they should wait at least until they love the person they are with.

That gives that with the poor hygien and the poor way of live, with famines and such, the kids were their sources of income, so, the more they got, the more that could help them out on the field, but most of the kids died (in the 16-17 Century in France, the population even diminished!) so it was needed for them to marry soon, get lots of kids and such before the women became unfrutile.
They get unfrutile, while nursing a baby (breastfeeding) and such, so that's why they didn't had kids time after time (and given that death upon born was high too, they relatively got not that much kids as one would expect)
So, before you make a remark like "they were horny as hell" please inform yourself before making such a statement 🙄

They had to marry before the girl got pregnant which is saying that they were horny and wanted sex at that time. So therefor they rushed into marriage to have sex otherwise they'd get in trouble for having sex at that time without marriage. I don't think you read my whole post or something because I made it pretty clear that it wasn't "quite like that."
