Getting my Ear cartilage pierced!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, i am going to get my ear cartilage peirced, hopefully by this weekend before i go back to high school (holidays..lol). I just have a few questions about it!

How much really would it cost?

Right or Left ear? (I was thinking right)

Does it hurt alot?

Is the needle the best way to go?

How long would it take?

What are some of the things to remember to do? (like not sleep on the pierced side)

I got mine done at Claire boutique (i flet like a queer going in there)...It cost $20 ( i got the barbel 14g) , it hurt, but not too bad initially... it hurt for like 2 months though, it kinda sucked. On girls it doesnt matter what ear, i got mine on the left otherwise that would be gay. it didnt take long at all, but it took a while to heal. They didnt use a needle, they used a gun...ive heard somewhere not to do that, but i had no probs, dont know anyone whose ever had any probs... I lost my barbel's ball like right away and have had to replace it a few times since (mostly cause i woke up drunk and it was gone)...umm just make sure it doesnt get infectted. I want to get another cartillege on my ear soon too, but im broke as hell now so itll be a little while.

what is a barbel really??

They usually use a gun for ear-piercing...it's quick and doesn't hurt as much.

I kinda want to get my cartilage pierced, but at the moment I'm undecided.

go with the needle, it's more safer 😄

Really? I've gotten my ears pierced twice and both times they used guns.

I wouldn't be able to go with a needle anyway, I'm terrified of needles cry

same with me, i have gotton my ears pierced twice with guns, but when u get cartilage pierced it's recommened to get it gone with a needle. I don't like needle's either, but i will get it done with a needle because it's better! 😄

If you go to claires they can show you the barbel...its like that thing people get their tongues pierced with.

no really though, the barbel is pretty cool, i kind of like it, im going to get another one....getting a ring in it is cool too, but its usually a higher gauge which would mean it would be easier if you got a barbell before you get a ring....

if you get it done with a needle you'd have to go to a tatoo shop i think, claires only does gun. If you go to a tat shop your looking at more money for sure. I got my eyebrow pierced with a needle at a tat shop and they charge me $50...

yeah at claires it was just under $20 i think, thats not too bad... yeah, the eybrow was killer...next time ill do it myself.

i do my piercings myself with sterilised needles.... much cheaper.
im wanna pierce the webbings inbetween ma fingers, but i cant afford 6 body bars yet
