Wolfs Rain RPG

((I know this one is going to be long, so please, don't freak out. It really isn't much to read, but I know it looks really long on the board.))

As Kouhai lay there, she heard others' voices. She lifted her head slowly, but felt a hand push it gently back down. <>Huh? Who.....is that?<> she whispered to herself. Trying to get up, Kouhai felt her legs strain as she pushed herself to rise. Her legs gave way beneath her, and she fell back down. She tried once more, and finally stood up in human form. But to her dismay, her footing gave way as she began to walk. Kouhai felt someone try to help break her fall by lightly grabbing her arm, but she shook them off and got up again.
After taking a few steps, she stumbled and grabbed the tree so that she wouldn't fall another time. She pushed herself off the tree and took a step forward.
A voice came from behind. <>And where exactly do you think you're going?<>
Turning around, Kouhai saw the wolf who she had met before standing in front of her in human form. She spoke. <>I don't want your help....<>
She went to hit him with an elbow, but he blocked it and grabbed her arm. Her whole body weakened, and as she started to fall, Tsume grabbed her other arm also. As he held her arms, he let her come down slowly.
Now on his knees, Tsume gently picked up Kouhai in his arms. He gave a sigh. <>You may not 'want' any help.......but by the looks of your condition....it would seem you 'need' it more than anything.<>
He rose to his feet and walked over to a large rock. As he set her back against the cool surface, her eyes opened slightly.
Seeing Tsume, she immediately snapped her head away. She didn't want to make the slightest bit of eye-contact with him. He gave a quick smile at her reaction and walked around to the other side of the rock and sat down. Giving a sigh, Tsume stared off towards a dense green forest that lay ahead.

((*hits computer* Stupid thing. I didn't really edit anything.......oh, well. Ok....maybe just a word, but that still shouldn't count as editing. *sigh* Why am I talking to myself?))

*Cresent sat on the ground and howled to the sky, hoping to call her pack. She was also howling for something else, her misery poured out of her throat in that howl*

((Hey, hey! Hi Cresent! I haven't talked to you in a while. ^^))

As Kiba ran, he heard another howl. Though this was from a different wolf. His eyes narrowed. He was sure the wolves ahead had seen him, so he veered off into the direction of where the howl came. Soon he came upon a wolf, sitting there in the sunlight. She was the same wolf who he had rescued from that aircraft a while ago. He changed into human form and stood there waiting to see what she would do.

((Hiya!!! I know how've you been?))

*Cresent caught another wolf's scent. She turned to face Kiba. Cresent was too tired to put up much of a fight. She only growled some, her old instincts still eating away at her. Cresent then rested her head on her paws, whimpering a bit* wh-what do you want?

((Just fine. I think......😄 *sigh* Man, I can't play Kiba in a nice,calm,relaxed mood))

Kiba just stared at her. <>Nothing. All I want to know is.......your howl. There's something there........what is it?<> He took a step closer, noticing she seemed a litle afraid.

Raevynn herd the howl of cresent, and she howled back, letting her know where they all were.

^Rai smiled at Blue, relieved she understood. Rai snapped her head around as she heard and saw the silver female stagger around. She smiled at the dark grey one who was near her(kouhai). Rai noticed how oddly protective he was of the silver fae.She gestured over to the dark grey male and asked Blue.^Who's that? He really seems to like that silver one, there.^She looked up at Blue, then heard a howl. She had never heard that one before, it was a stranger, so she looked back at Blue, waiting.^

*Cresent looked back at Kiba and forced a stern expression upon her face* it's nothing... *Cresent heard Raevynn's howl but dared not go over there, she just wanted to stay where she was*

((sorry about not being on yesterday. Our computer had 7 viruses!!! o_O))

Blue followed her gaze. <>I don't know. I've never seen her before.<> She then noticed Tsume. <>Hm. That's something new. I find it odd that he'd act that way.....unless Kiba told him to waych her.<> She turned at Rai and gave a smile. It was nice to have someone else to talk to. Especially another female.

Kiba turned as he heard the howl. <>That must be you pack. Come on. We should get back.<> He glanced at her and noticed her sad gaze. Slowly, he walked up to her and extended a hand, gesturing her to get up and follow.

((no problem Rai, and it's alright Kouhai, i know how that feels, my computer sucks too))

*Cresent glanced at Kiba's hand and then to him. She very slowly and cautiously took his hand and began to tremble though she had no clue why*

-walks by cresent with kaze in his hand all bandaged up-

*Cresent looked at Kaze and gasped. She ran over to Lance and growled loudly at him. Cresent picked Kaze out of his arms and took her herself. She sent Lance a cold glare, telling him to stay away from her. Cresent then walked over to Kiba's side*

As the sun began to set below the horizon, the once blue sky changed into an color array of pink, yellow, and orange. Tsume and Kouhai sat in silence---not a word uttured between them.
Tsume was still staring at the forest ahead. After a moment, he spoke. <>What happened back to you back there?<>
Kouhai's soft expression quickly changed to a harsh one, and she tensed up. <>Just what difference does it make to you?<>
Silence once again filled the atmosphere. When he didn't answer, her face became a blank stare that seemed to gaze off into nothingness.
<>When I was still with my old pack, we traveled from city to city. We were always on the move, doing whatever we could to survive. At one city we came to, a number of the members in the pack--including myself--went into the city to get food and other supplies. When we returned, a horrible site lay before us. All of our pack had been killed. And what made matters worse, was that the people who did it were still there---in hiding---waiting for those of us to return. They began to shoot round after round at us, and in the chaos of it all.......I ran off. I fled from certain death.....I abandoned those who would have fought to protect me. I was too scared to face the thought of death. I was afraid of the overwhelming death I wouldn't have been able to escape. I don't deserve to be alive. I should have died. I should have----<>
Tears began to fill her eyes, but she forced herself to stop.
<>You should have left me. You should have left me behind.<>
Tsume turned his head toward her. He stared, and his face held a sad gaze. He didn't have anything to say, so he kept quiet, waiting for night to come.
