that it is a very tricky subject... Scotland is very attached to independence and not only thanks to William Wallace but also before and after that... they were a free kingdom for quite some time and now are under the United Kingdom. They only just get more individual freedom 😖

I think they perhaps should test out a system like they have in Belgium

well, belgium is actually seperated into four parts... the north (flemish), the south (walloons), the center (brussels) and the utmost ease (germanic)... they all have a lot of freedom and have their own rules. It is only connected as one big country due to the federal government who has only power over certain laws and such but can NOT undo what one of the parts ever voted for.
