"you know their will be groups of mutant haters waiting at the registration area. they will kill everyone who goes. and i would never cooperate anyway. this is just another scam to get us out of hiding so they can capture us and we'll end up on some goverment lab table being disected! i for one will not stand for this! i say we destroy wherever the registration place is! burn it to the ground! mutants should be able to be whoever they want!!"
"Nick Fury?! i do not want to rely on him to end this. charles, just use cerebro to find all the mutants in this area. we can take thim in here at the mansion and introduce them to the x-men. we must hurry before any one registers. they have not announced the registration place yet, so we could get all local mutants to come here and not register."
Jean stayed calm, watching as the man that the regular humans chose as their leader announced a bill which would surely bring about death and hardship for mutants rather than bring peace and serenity for all. Bush was naive, this would do nothing. Once the speech had finished Jean sighed heavily, "He's no idea what he has just done." She murmurred.
Corellia closed her eyes briefly, letting loose several tears, "This is all we need...more mutant haters taking out revenge on us when we're meant to be safe."
