X-Men Soap Opera!

jean - "celia... i don't wish to alarm you... but you could be pregnant..."

Celia blinked. "I. . .Uh. . .could be?" she said hoarse. "I mean isn't there a definate way to know."

*jean took a kit out of her drawer*

jean - "go to the bathroom and use this... then bring it back to me..."

*she handed her the kit...*

Celia nodded. She went to the bathroom and quickly took the tests. Stepping out she called to Jean.

jean - "yes celia?"

Celia looked like she was in tears. "I. .. Uh. . .It's positive."

*jean opened her arms...*

jean - "come here..."

Celia walked into Jean's arms and began to cry silently. She was so scared. Everything that could go wrong went through her mind as she sobbed on Jean's shoulder. How would Peter take it? Would he leave her?

jean - "whats wrong? why so sad? this is good news isn't it?"

"I. . .I don't know. I'm happy but I'm scared too."

jean - "thats natural... but there is no need to be scared really..."

Celia bit her lip. "I. . .I better go tell Peter." she stammered trying wipe her tears away. She headed down the hallway avoiding everyone's eyes.

*peter had gotten dressed by now and was sitting at his easel... he stroked his chin as he examined an empty canvas...*

Taking a deep breath, Celia knocked on Peter's door. SHe had composed herself but she knew time she saw him, it would fail.

*he opened the door to see celia*

colossus - "hello stranger..." he said smiling...

Celia bit her lip as tears streamed down her face. She covered it with her hands. "Oh, Peter." she sobbed. "Please, don't be angry."

colossus - "what's wrong? why are you crying? did somebody say something? why would i be angry with you?"

Celia pulled him into his room and shut the door. "You might want to sit down."

colossus - "umm... ok..."

*he sat on the edge the bed*

colossus - "what is it?"

Celia took his hand in hers and pressed it to her belly. "You can't feel it now, but there's a life we made forming inside me as we speak."
