Kitty nodded and smiled a little, "Yeah...thats kinda off-limits to most people here when they just arrive..." She smiled a little more, "I'm Kitty...they call me Shadowcat too...but more as a nickname on missions and stuff."

"im Ark, and what kinda missions do they do here" Ark asked

"Recons, training and a few others that I cant really tell you about seeing as though you're so new...but yeah, its a great place to be, secure, friendly, we're all like family here and soon you'll feel like it too." She smiled

"ok, whats your powers ShadowCat" Ark asked, "myself, i can fly and turn into this substance which i call Volcryx, and it is really strong"

"I can walk through solid and non solid objects, fase in and out of reality to do so for no more than 20 minutes and I can help mold items...thats about it...I haven't completely controlled it all though, I'm still learning."

"wow thats cool, the only kool thing about my power is i can fly, with the other thing i just break stuff" Ark said, "so u can phase, cyclops can shoot red destructo beams from his eyes, jean is telepathic and telekinetic, and Rogue can fly too"

Kitty nodded, "I'm glad you met someone atleast...when I arrived the entire mansion was on lockdown...it was scary and I was rushed off to a bunker for almost a week." She chuckled at the memory.

"well Rogue kinda met me" Ark said, i was being chased by an angry mob of mutant haters, and now im here, but i keep hearing them talk about some sinister guy, do you know any thing about him?" Ark asked ?ShadowCat

Kitty shook her head and sighed a little, "No...but I know what thats like...when I took a break from the mansion I was attacked too...pretty badly beaten up too...but thats all over now and I'm safe again."

"i guess the worlds not ready for mutants" Ark said, "not even my family was ready, when they found out i was a mutant" Ark started to get angry, his body turned into Volcryx

Kitty got a little worried, "Hey...it's ok Ark...I know what it's like to feel the way you do but theres no good in getting angry over it, trust me on that ok?"

"i know" Ark said, "i just cant help getting angry, and this power doesnt help me either" Ark said, he calmed down abit, but he was still Volcryx

*The proffessor came out of his study and went to the living room, grabbed the remote control and switched on the tv*

*After spending some time trying to find Ragnard through Cerebro, he decided to try a different approach. He tried to read the minds of Blob, Sabretooth, Toad, Avalanche and Pyro but to no avail. Feeling a bit nautious from the mental activity he went back to the living room and decided to watch the news*

Anchorman - "There were protests on capital hill today as supporters of the mutant registration act made themselves heard during a democratic rally. Many of the protesters, carrying anti-mutant signs, shouted and roared trying to get their voices heard. They also lobbied to have the sentinel program re-introduced, but the president has stated that he will only do either of these things if it becomes absolutely neccessary."

*Wolverine walks into the living room and sees Xavier watching TV.*

"Am I still wanted by the cops?"

~I was editing it a few seconds after I posted but I had to leave the computer for a few minutes so I didn't get to change it to Xavier.~

"I hope your right Xavier."

"Logan do not worry about it, right now the only thing we need to concentrate on is finding Ragnard and keeping the mansion safe. I paid a visit to our guests but they know nothing of sinisters wherabouts"
