aelita was a regular person and then she died somehow and her parents missed her so much that they built a computer version of her and put her in it and then aelita was there with the monsters when she split into aelita and xana you see xana is her evil side and when aelita parents went to materilize aelita xana killde then and disrupted the materilazation and out came taila who was aelita without any memory
