This would be the biggest beat down of wolverines career...everyone brings up wolverine fought the hulk and did alright...yeah with glancing blows can he stand up to a full force hulk punch ...nada and colossus is considerably faster than any of the BIG men wolverine has fought..Big C is a top notch athlete in speed and agility not just strength and his armor form only enhances that further. As others have said Wolverine doesnt have to power to actually hurt colossus..at most superficial lacerations..which on a normal enemy would wear them down over time through blood loss, but ooops colossus doesnt bleed...darn...wow his internal organs are solid organic steel to so what good would breaking his skin do anyway? Piss him off?
and those that say Piotr doesnt have the heart to fight...check out the issue he is resurrected in ....he is made of fury ...as savage as wolverine berserker...only a thousand times his strength
collosus beats the living daylights out o wolvie here....
there is no point in debating this....as said wolverine doesn't have the proper strength to cut through collosus...so until proven otherwise, that's not even an issue up for debate here....
that said...I highly doubt collosus is going to win with a single punch...he's hit wolverine with everything he's had on several occasions...on each one wolverine's just bounced right back up without so much as a whimper or otherwise...
anywho...that nontwithstanding, wolverine can only avoid collosus for so long even given his better fighting ability....collosus only needs one or two hits to start gaining momentum to end this quickly. Wolverine's only shot at winning as far as I can tell would be to go for the eyes ears or mouth....the chances of that happening vs. collosus punching him accross a state line a half dozen times......very slim....very....
