Well of course it depends on the writer. But didn't Fabian create Deadpool with Liefeld and also write Cable & Deadpool. Plus it is the most recent origin.

But on-topic. That isn't Deadpool. Doesn't make sense because Weapon XI and Wade aren't even played by the same character.

Until the movie comes out and proves it I'm still saying that isn't Deadpool. I seen somewhere that Deadpool was hardly suppose to be in the movie at first. Why would he suddenly become the main villain? Much less one that has no mouth, and the abilities of others. Along with the whole...Ryan was playing Deadpool and the guy that the toys say is Deadpool doesn't look like Ryan Reynolds...so he wouldn't have needed to come back to shoot more scenes for Deadpool to be in if Ryan wasn't even playing him all the way through.

Scott Adkins as Weapon XI: Weapon XI has powers pulled from many of the mutants featured in the film including Wolverines healing factor and Cyclops optic blasts. and is in the end sequence fight scene against Wolverine.

I see your point guys, but im like Mindset, will keep hoping. I dont know why's that guy called "Deadpool" but i dont think its our Deadpool. Maybe they just gave weapon XI the name, but its not Wade Wilson. If it was him Ryan Reynolds would've played the role.

Anyhow, I have a bad feeling about this movie. Firstly, I don't like Jackman's Wolverine performance. And secondly, Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth? Give me a break. He looks ridiculous. Not to mention it's rated PG-13...

Whats wrong with Jackman's performance? He's ok imo. Too tall, yes, but overall I liked him as Logan. He likes the character which is important.

His Wolverine has a cat-like appearance and isn't sloppy enough.

I enjoyed Eric von Sydow's short performance from "First Round" fan film. His Wolverine was much more badass IMO.

I too have a bad feeling about this film. The ONLY good thing about from what I've seen is Jackman.

Found this info posted on a site dedicated to comicbook movies. Dont really know where that came from but its far from from being a 100% reliable source.

"Weapon XI will have a final confrontation with Wolverine at the end of the film in, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. There was also a minor misunderstanding that this character was Deadpool due to an improper action figure labeling." 😐

Dudes, I have a feeling Deadpool will be minus one cool looking ninja mask with big black circles on it. An extended preview I saw today has him wearing red work out clothes and a little later, black work out clothes.

Also, from what it seems:

The Deadpool parts more so than the Cyclops parts. Hopefully they'll make a spin-off Deadpool movie that'll be entirely set around him.
