Goten and Trunks didn't defeat the army, it was Gotenks ^_^ anyway Gotenks defeat "Dictator" (The didn't give him a name and only called him Dictator but we all know it was supposed to be hitler)

No its Son Pan, just like Son Gohan, Son Goku, Son Goten, Son Chi Chi.

Son is Gokus family name. (well it was Grandpa Gohans name, but since he adopted Goku, Goku adopted the name.)

If Son is the family name, wouldn't it be Goku Son? 😕 Plus Chi Chi isn't from the Son family, it's two families who come together.

the son crap is weird. aint it just used in the japanese versions, and o dude who the hell is dictator? its hitler in 12, and what was yall's fav movie? mine was 13 hildegarn. i also liked the broly movies though

dude Vegeta had no last name so he took Breif it was SON in teh manga I didn't see much in teh anime its Son Goku Son is his last name because this is in Japan that the way its done, and oterh question few will get!. What influenced Akira Toriyoma to write DragonBall?

They never said his full name in the English version. 🙂

Yeah in the English version they dont, but in others they do. And ChiChi married into Goku's family correct? So in most cases it would be Son ChiChi. In some cultures last name comes before first.

And Akira Toriyama was inspired/influenced by Journey to the West.
