Funny I think the complete opposite! I like Shuichi in the anime much more than the manga version! Actually, that's the main turn off for me reading the manga!!
yea...the 2 look a lot diff...in my opinion. i just downloaded a couple of gravie's and saw the pictures and i was like "ok...i see yuki, but where's shindo?" lol, it took my a second to figure everything out.
when i read yaoi, i usually read gundam wing fics. i've read a lot of good fics: one-shots, multi-parts, etc. i can give a list of some good authors/sites/stories. just ask or pm me 😉 .
