Very nice!
Almost as funny as Jay and Silent Bob beating up the Easter Bunny!

Nice Black Panther pic, Cable.

new avengers spidey, hope this wasnt posted before

I was skeptical about the series at first, but the preview pages look interesting, even without the dialogue. Interviews with the writer have shown that he really is passionate about Avengers lore and comics, and he has a good deal of script writing under his bealt, so I hope it's all good. Ladies and Gents: The Young Avengers.

I'm still skeptical. They're trying to pull off some sort of " Teen Titans " bit for Marvel. I never liked the youthful/kiddie heroes thing. It doesn't look appealing at all especially in the wake of the old Avengers team. They killed of Scott Lang, Jack of Hearts and Vision for THIS? Bah.

new avengers logan

No. Bendis killed off Scott Lang (great character, I'm pissed he's gone), Jack of Hearts, Hawkeye and Vision for Spiderwoman, Luke Cage, Sentry, Spidey and Wolverine.

Almost no information has been released on the YA, I'm still skeptical, but I find the artwork to be nice. So far it seems like a number of superpowered youth have decided to step up to the plate after their predecessors have seemingly bit the dust. They respect the old Avengers, but I think they may differ fundamentally, as one of the preview pages showed Young Iron Man searching around in the Mansion's rubble, attacking Cap when he shows up and fleeing. Not exactly the best way to ingratiate yourselves with your childhood heroes.

It sounds like a crappy gimmick name, but I think it could be very interesting. Time will tell.

I think they said they're going to release all the variant covers stuck together as a poster. I'll be picking that up, if they fit well together and if they actually do it.

Not that it matters a great deal, as I've already divested much more interest into a great "new" super-team. Here's to 500 issues of the Invaders!
