Too bad this got kinda buried. I would love to see all the new people post their introduction here! Then we have a place that we can all go to see who likes want and such. It was helpful to me when I came to KMC!
Anyway, I know there are many new peole browsing our forum! Can't wait to see ya all post!!
Well, I've made my way back into the anime forum, may as well reintroduce myself since there's so many new people!
My name is Alana (nicknamed Lana, call me whichever you want), I'm 19 years old and currently studying psychology. I've liked anime since I was 12 or 13, and my all-time favorite is Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. I like to attend anime conventions and I love cosplay, and have even won an award 😄 I'm also a huge fan of Star Wars, the Matrix, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings 😊
Hi!
Anime Conventions prove theres a god[Im pretty sure shes a flower girl with a Pink Bow].If there isnt one in your town plan out a road trip to the nearest one.Every year i hit ACEN and Sugoicon myself but i plan on hitting more as time and budget allows
GreatCon Moments
ACEN 2005-Stayed awake 72 straight hours with only minor hallcunations by day 3
Sugoicon 2004-Faith in humanity restored when when my lost 1st & 2nd volumes of Angelic Layer were returned by another con-goer who heard a desctription of me.Bought a Bunny hat and sold Pocky also made me more recognizable
ACEN 2004-Gave away massive amounts of Pocky to cos-players for the heck of it
Sugoicon 2003-Stole a table in front of the dance around midnight and sold whatever assorted stuff all of us could gather or won from the VG tournies earlier.Made enough money to buy a couple more DVDs
ACEN 2003-My Mom joined me at this con and turned into a hardcore Otaku overnight.Has still seen more Chobits and Fruits Basket than me 😕
Sugoicon 2002-First ever con out of state. The trip was so hard it could be turned into a novel.Won my last Soul Caliber Tourny before retierment from the game

You go to ACen? I've been to ACen 2k3, 2k4, and 2k5 (I live in Chicago). Did you by any chance see the masquerade at last year's ACen?
