Hollow Regard

Verse I

Better than the rest
But can you see me
Through my elaborate disguise
My image seen, through your eyes

Hey, it’s not your fault
How can I expect you
To know the real me
When I’m false

Trial and error hasn’t worked
Still can’t find someone who understands
A friend that can be there
By letting me be there for them
