Just in time when the 00's disappear in the sewersystem, the door gets stampeded by 4 soldiers. Yelling and pointing their guns at every corner and in the end at John and Julia.
"Hand up! Show me your hands!"
John turns around slowly, dropping the gun.
"Hey! Take it easy! I'm John, I'm the assistant of Vittoria, remember? I caught her stealing in the office."
The leader of the soldiers steps forward and nods.
"Good to see you in one piece."
"Always a pleasure, Timothy. Could you search the girl and take her gun please?"
The leader nods and moves forward.
(sorry, not on a lot lately)
Elektra gets roughly thrown against the officetable and searched quite fast while she's being placed under shot by the other soldiers.
Timothy had no trouble finding the plan she found.
"John... is this from Vittoria or something?"
The double oh takes the file and browses through it, trying to show a lack of empathy.
He glares at Julia and takes a deep breath, shaking his head.
"No... This is from her."
He nods at Julia.
"It's about proton-desimilar-acceleration, something similar to what I studied... fascinating material..."
John hoped it would have sounded intelligent enough to get Timothy desinterested in the file...
It worked as the soldier nods to Julia.
"What about her?"
-"Well, I'm sure she can be of use to me to find something out... I'll take her off your hands then?"
"I rather have a soldier with you on this..."
-"Fine, let's go."
John walks out the room, followed by Julia who's taken under shot by a soldier. The trio stops behind the corner at the place where the group entered the sewersystem.
"Come on 5 'n 8..." John murmles...
Perfect, you take use of your gadgets, Q would be thrilled...
You neatly open up the box and throw it against the guard who gets the full blow. Almost instantly he falls down and groans while shaking his head.
Though he did absorb most of the gas, there is still some that reached Julia and John who were standing less than 5 feet away. It disorientates them slighty but not enough to fall down or anything.
It doesn't take long for John to take out his gun and aimed it at Julia. Without taking his eyes of her he says:
"Peter, your gun please, two on her will be better than one."
He shakes his head a bit to get the dizzyness away from the gass before nodding to the girl:
"And now, no more foreplay.... let's figure this all out and get out of here..."
With a louder voice he tries to get Andrew's attention.
John takes Julia by the arm and guides her with a stern move to the private sewers.
He looks at Peter: "Easier to talk there, can you get rid of the guard?"
When they get into the sewer together with Peter he starts talking again:
"Look, I'll play open with you. We know why you're here and we are in a situation where we can not easily ask for backup without our cover getting possibly blown so we need help... You're the only one around that seems handy enough to pull it off. So I suggest we work together to get out of this and revenge on the one that double crossed you... or do you think the alarms went off for fun?"
He looks at the other two guys to get confirmation in his decision.
John waves you off.
"Lets first try to get out of this and survive the whole deal, shall we?"
He then ignores you.
"Now, it says here that we should continue down the stream till the huge vents above us that have to keep the moist in balance... Shouldn't be that difficult to find: if someone falls into them, we'll see some blood. Anyone want to go first?"
